Overview

The HR and Compliance Manager will oversee all human resource functions and ensure compliance with labor, payroll, and safety regulations. This role involves managing employee and driver records, handling payroll processes, and ensuring the company adheres to labor laws and HSSEQ standards. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and problem-solving skills, coupled with significant experience in the transport industry.

Responsibilities & Duties

1. Maintain and manage detailed driver and employee records.
2. Prepare salary schedules for employees and drivers, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
3. Disburse salaries and oversee driver deductions.
4. Issue vouchers for drivers and prepare traffic fine deductions.
5. Facilitate onboarding processes for employees and drivers.
6. Coordinate with the Driver Compliance Officer to monitor and enforce compliance standards.
7. Handle NSSF, WCF, PAYE, and payroll filings accurately and on time.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Social Science, or a related field.
2. At least 5 years of experience in a mid-sized transport company.
3. Previous experience with NSSF, WCF, PAYE, and payroll filings.
4. Solid understanding of labor laws and OSHA regulations.
5. Experience in HSSEQ (Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Quality).

Certification & Licenses

(Optional: Certifications in HR management, labor law compliance, or HSSEQ are advantageous.)
