To begin the clearance process, we require you to provide us with the Bill of Lading. We accept Original Bill of Lading (OBL), SEAWAY, or TELEX. If you are providing the OBL, we will require you to send 3 copies of the OBL.
How many days will it take to deliver the cargo to Zambia?
The ETA to Zambia largely depends on the pace of border clearance at the Tunduma (Tanzania – Zambia) border. Rest assured our team at RAS Logistics have partner agents at each border site to ensure the smooth crossing of your cargo.
How many free days storage is available at the Dar Es Salaam Port?
At the Dar Es Salaam port 14 Days of free storage is provided, which begins the moment vessel is discharged. After the 14 days, Storage charges will start to accrue.
How many days in advance do we have to provide the original B/L?
In order to ensure the timely clearance of your cargo, our team will have to receive the Original B/L at least 10 days before your cargo arrives.
