Driver Compliance Officer

Overview

The Driver Compliance Officer will oversee driver onboarding, performance monitoring, and compliance with safety and operational standards. This role is key to maintaining a high-performing driver team, ensuring adherence to labor laws, safety protocols, and operational guidelines. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive, and experienced in transport company operations

Responsibilities & Duties

1. Oversee onboarding processes for new drivers to ensure smooth integration into the team.
2. Monitor and track driver compliance with operational and performance standards.
3. Provide training to drivers on company policies, safety procedures, and operational expectations.
4. Ensure compliance with safety requirements, including the use of uniforms and safety gear.
5. Collaborate with HR and the Compliance Manager to address and resolve driver-related issues.
6. Assist in drafting and issuing driver warning letters when necessary.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Social Science, or a related field.
2. At least 3 years of experience working in a mid-sized transport company.
3. Knowledge of labor laws and OSHA regulations.
4. Experience in HSSEQ (Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Quality).

Certifications & Licenses

(Optional: Certifications in HSSEQ or labor law compliance are advantageous.)
